Two Cars Collide, 1 Person Injured Near Temecula Middle School

A two-car collision on Monday left a Hyundai Tucson overturned and one person taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Here's what happened.

TEMECULA, CA — A two-car collision drew a large emergency presence Monday near Temecula Middle School.

Just after 12:15 p.m., Riverside County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to the 42000 block of Meadows Parkway on reports of a traffic collision.

"Upon arrival, deputies located a two-vehicle traffic collision, with one vehicle overturned," Sgt. Robert Martinez said.

The vehicles were at the entrance to the bus loop of the middle school, on the southbound side of Meadows Parkway.

One driver was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. The other driver was uninjured.

"No arrests have been made, and the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
