Van Avery Prep Students Celebrate Earth Day on Catalina Island

Seventh grade sudents at Van Avery Prep in Temecula recently visited Catalina Island for a week of environmental education in honor of Earth Day. Throughout the week, students learned about ocean life, the important role oceans have in the ecosystem and how they can play a part in protecting the environment. Van Avery Prep teaches the importance of community and exploring nature.
