Winds Gust Through SW RivCo, Advisory Issued
Travelers are warned to use extra caution when driving, especially those operating high-profile vehicles.
TEMECULA, CA — A wind advisory is in effect Monday across the Inland Empire, including the Southwest Riverside County cities of Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Temecula and Wildomar.
The National Weather Service said the advisory will remain in effect through noon Tuesday.

The winds follow a cold winter storm that blew through the area Sunday and into Monday morning. The front prompted a winter weather advisory for mountain areas that ended at 10 a.m. Monday. Snow levels were down to around 4,000 feet Monday morning.
Temperatures will heat up on Tuesday, then remain around average until dropping again heading into the weekend.

High temperatures Monday could reach 68 degrees in Riverside, 68 in the San Gorgonio Pass, 72 in the Coachella Valley, 44 in Idyllwild and 63 in Temecula and Hemet.
