Here at Artisan's Palate, we constantly receive new Artisan's to showcase in our shop. As of a few days ago, we've finally received our first hot sauce that is packed with flavor and quite a punch.
Ghost Scream is a unique hot sauce that does not use any powders to produce the heat, but rather, ghost peppers. Ghost peppers are infamous for being the world's hottest pepper with a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for just that--being hot!
After a "heated" discussion (pun intended) over hot sauce with a fellow foodie in the shop, we came to the conclusion that it isn't solely about the heat as much as it is about the flavor. The heat provides that extra punch, but means nothing if there's no flavor. That's what separates a good hot sauce from unnecessary liquid fire.
Ghost Scream Hot Sauce has tremendous flavor with a gradual heat that hits after and progresses into Ghost Pepper heaven. If you like heat, you'll love this. It's manageable and isn't overwhelming so don't let the Ghost Pepper aspect scare you out of trying it.
This hot sauce isn't about being the hottest you've ever had, although, it has that potential, but rather to spark some new bright flavors and enhance whatever it is you're putting it on. Ghost Scream is definitely a must-have!
