The Torrance Historical Society will host the Fall Tour of Historic Homes this weekend, from 11 am – 4 pm October 10-11, 2026. Guests will tour the inside of five homes, and will see how others have renovated, updated, and decorated their historic homes to accommodate today’s lifestyle, yet managed to preserve the charming architecture and characteristics of the past.
The homes on the tour reflect an eclectic mix, from Spanish Colonial Revival to Craftsman to Neo-classical Revival to Tudor Revival, which characterize and add to the charm of Old Torrance. Houses on the Tour were built between 1922 and 1936, making four of the homes 100+ years old! Each home will have a Model A car parked in front of it courtesy of South Bay Touring A’s. Tickets cost $50 and include complimentary cookies and lemonade from Torrance Bakery.
The homes may viewed in any order, on either day, and all are within walking distance from the Museum — the furthest being three blocks away. Red Car Brewery & Restaurant (www.redcarbrewery.com) will be offering a 10% discount to all Home Tour attendees who show their booklet when dining that weekend.
Proceeds from the fundraiser directly benefit the Museum – archiving activities, historical discoveries, research projects, special programs, its operation and exhibits.

The Torrance Historical Society is a non-profit organization run by all volunteers.
