Comedy For A Cause-"Stand-Up For Texas."

On Friday, October 27, 2017, “Stand-Up For Texas,” a comedy benefit will be held for the hurricane survivors. The event will be held at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, CA 92692 at 7:30 pm.

Hurricane Harvey, Category 4 made landfall on August 25, 2017 on the Gulf Coast of Texas, specifically hitting Port Aransas, Texas. Hurricane Harvey wrecked havoc on Texas.

While we’d love to be able to help all the survivors, we realize we can’t help everyone, but we can make a difference for the people of Port Aransas, TX.

Port Aransas is a seaside town with families, homes and businesses that were all devastated by Harvey. Their top priority is rebuilding Brundrett Middle School which received the brunt of 130 mph winds and floods

The City of Mission Viejo launched a community- wide campaign to partner with many local nonprofit organizations in an effort to help Port Aransas.

The evening features four professional comedians—Tom Riehl, Ron Ruhman, Mark Schumacher and Stephanie Blum.

This will be a night of entertainment guaranteed to make you laugh your face off and you can help by purchasing a ticket at mvactivities.com or making a donation.
