Donations Needed For South County Food Pantry: Trabuco Canyon
South County Outreach needs non-perishable food or cash donations during October Food Drive.

TRABUCO CANYON, CA β With Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, area food pantries are open and awaiting donations. South County Outreach has partnered with the Irvine Auto Center for its inaugural food drive in the race to collect 10,000 pounds of food.
From October 1st through the 31st, all dealerships in the Irvine Auto Center will be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to South County Outreach.
South County Outreach collects almost one million pounds of food every year from grocery stores, manufacturers, schools, businesses, religious organizations, individuals and other agencies. Food drives are an important source of food at South County Outreach but many times the shelves are bare. Monetary donations fund the agencyβs fresh food acquisitions to provide vegetables, fruit, milk and meat to local families in need.

South County Outreach Food Pantry Fast Facts:
- South County Outreach provides emergency non-perishable and fresh food to 3,000 residents per month.
- South County Outreach is in most need of non-perishable food items including peanut butter, mac nβ cheese, pasta, cereal, bagged beans, canned meat like chicken, tuna and spam, jelly, canned fruit, pasta sauce, oatmeal, bagged rice, canned chili, canned ravioli and diced tomatoes.
- A cash donation of $20 turns into $100 worth of food through our sources.
