Fill 'er Up: Trabuco Canyon Gas Prices Fall Again
Over the past 10 days, the cost of a gallon of self-serve gasoline has fallen again across Orange County and Los Angeles County.

TRABUCO CANYON, CA β The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Orange County dropped Tuesday for the 28th consecutive day and 33rd time in 34 days, decreasing a half-cent to $3.099.
That average price has dropped 17.7 cents over the past 34 days, including one-tenth of a cent on Monday. It is 4.1 cents less than one week ago and 16.8 cents lower than one month ago, but 39.7 cents more than one year ago.
The decreases follow a 15-day streak of increases totaling 25.6 cents that boosted the Orange County average price to its highest amount since Sept. 14, 2015. The increases included a statewide 12-cent a gallon gasoline tax increase that went into effect Nov. 1

In Los Angeles County, gas prices dropped Tuesday for the 19th consecutive day and 29th time in the last 30 days, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.155.
The average price has dropped 14.8 cents over the past 29 days, including a half-cent on both Sunday and Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 4 cents less than one week ago and 14.6 cents lower than one month ago, but 44.6 cents more than one year ago.
The average price dropped for 10 consecutive days, was unchanged on Nov. 25, then resumed dropping Nov. 26.
