Over the weekend, nearly a dozen mailboxes were rifled through at the Canyon Post office in Trabuco.

TRABUCO CANYON, CA β€” Nearly a dozen post office boxes were rifled through over the weekend at the Trabuco Canyon Post Office on the 30000 block of Trabuco Canyon Road, Patch has learned. The incident took place either late Saturday night or early Sunday, according to that Post Office branch.

"We have filed a police report, and we are attempting to change the locks of the boxes that were broken into," a representative for the Post Office said.

One witness stated that an O'Neill Regional Park Ranger reportedly discovered items that were consistent with the theft at the nearby park early Monday morning. Patch has reached out to confirm.
