What's Closed On Labor Day In Trabuco Canyon?

TRABUCO CANYON, CA — When you are planning to go out and about, conduct city business or buy a car, check out this list of closures for Orange County.

Labor Day is a Federal Holiday, and city and federal businesses are closed on Monday. Public Transportation will run on Sunday schedules, and you should be able to visit your local grocery store to get burgers and dogs for the grill.

Trash Pick Up On Monday? Waste Management is running on Holiday Schedule for the first Monday of September. When a holiday falls on a weekday, collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week.

Want to visit City Hall? Expect closures at city and government offices all across the board. City Hall will be closed.

Thinking of mailing a letter? The U. S. Postal Service is closed, and your letters will linger another day.

Heading to the bank? Better use your mobile banking or hit an ATM. Most financial institutions will be closed on Labor Day, as well as the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq.

Want To Check Out A Book? Your local Orange County Library branch will be closed this Labor Day.

Riding The Bus? You should be okay, as Orange County Transportation Authority and Metrolink will run according to their normal holiday schedule.

Do You Plan On Shopping? Most stores are open, as are malls and shopping districts might have varied holiday hours.

And remember, those sandy Orange County and Los Angeles County beaches are always open.
