Woman Injured In Crash Near Wagon Wheel Elementary School

TRABUCO CANYON, CA — A woman in her 50s was rescued from her vehicle after it crashed, Orange County Fire Authority reported.

At just before 3:30 p.m. Monday, Orange County Fire Authority firefighters and paramedics responded to the collision scene on Oso Parkway near Bridle Path in front of Wagon Wheel Elementary School, OCFA Capt. Steve Concialdi said.

There, a car was found on its side with a woman trapped inside.

Firefighters assisted the woman from her vehicle, and she was taken to Mission Hospital in an ambulance as a trauma patient, Concialdi said. She was described to be in moderate condition. There were no other injuries in the incident, and California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
