2 Arrested In Union City Last Week
Breaking: A man and woman were arrested on the 17th; the crimes are unrelated.

UNION CITY, CA — Police in Union City last week arrested a man in connection with assault with a deadly weapon. Jason Allen, 28, of Union City, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a firearm, making criminal threats and carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, police said.
Officers with the Union City Police Department responded May 17 around 8:30 a.m. to the 1800 block of Whipple Road on a report a subject pulled a firearm. Police said the suspect, later identified as Allen, had pointed a gun at the victim and threatened to kill him. Allen was still at the scene when officers responded.
Also on the 17th, a Union City woman was arrested for allegedly assaulting a man and vandalizing his truck. 22-year-old Priscilla Lopez was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, making criminal threats and vandalism, police said.

Officers responded at 10:45 a.m. to Union Landing on a report of a possibly battery. Police said the victim reported Lopez ran up to his truck, punched him in the face and shattered his truck's windows with a rock. The victim also said Lopez threatened to stab him.
