20 Minute Delays on BART

BART suffered a power outage affecting its operation control center's computers.

BART is experiencing residual 20-minute systemwide delays because of a power outage that affected the agency's operation control center's computers, a BART spokesman said.

The outage occurred at 10:24 a.m. and no safety problem existed, BART spokesman Taylor Huckaby said.

The computers usually operate the trains, which went under manual control until power was restored and the computers were reset.
