Update: Missing 4-Year-Old Boy Found Safe
The child had vanished during a domestic dispute.

UNION CITY, CA — Union City Police report that a missing 4 year-old boy, Lykier Acosta, has been found safe. They did not immediately provide further details. Union City Police Capt. Gloria Lopez-Vaughan thanked everyone who participated in the search for the child.
The search for Lykier started when police responded to a domestic violence situation at 8 a.m. Friday. According to police, "The caller reported seeing a man push a woman from a car. Officers located the woman and noticed she had minor injuries."
The victim told police that her husband, Lawrence Pollard, had driven off with their 4-year-old son. Pollard was found by police, but Lykier was not with him. Police were told the child was dropped off at a relative’s residence in Oakland, but they were unable to find him immediately.

The domestic dispute was reported on Mission Boulevard near Tamarack Drive, according to police.
