Alvarado Middle School Students Score High at State Science Fair

Announcement submitted by New Haven Unified School District:

Team “U-Power”, comprised of AMS eighth-graders Arshia Deep, Serena Lee and Viren Srivastava, are back from Los Angeles after participating in the state science fair, where they placed third in the Alternative Energy category. The California State Science Fair showcased over 860 projects across all the different categories representing schools all around the state. ​ ​For more information on the CSSF, click here.

Team “U-Power” would like to thank AMS science teacher Vicki Baker for motivating the team through all their efforts and sponsoring the after-school science club over the past number of years.
