This past weekend Feb. 22-23, five girls from our James Logan Girls Wrestling team headed to Lemoore, CA for the CIF Girls State Wrestling Championships. Hayley, Talissa, Melanie, Alyssa and Vanessa qualified for the state championships. A big congratulations to the four girls who placed in their weight class and together as a team with 56 points, they placed 4th!
Hayley Aguilar at 98 pounds takes 8th place. Talissa Noriega at 103 pounds takes 6th place. Melanie Cordero at 118 pounds takes 4th place. Alyssa Hernandez at 138 pounds takes 4th place. And with 56 points as a team, they take 4th in California.
