Kicking off the 2013-14 Season of the Arts, the Smith
Center at Ohlone College presents a fiesta of music and dance. Ballet
Folklorico Mexicano features a full mariachi band and a vibrant cast of
twirling, spinning dancers whose intricate footwork leaves audiences
mesmerized. Artistic director Carlos Moreno draws from the rich diversity of
Mexican culture, translating traditional folklore into a visual tour of the
country’s varied regional dances.
