Choose Water!
Nutrition Services is part of the Alameda County Public Health Department. Visit us at www.healthyliving.org.

Summer is almost over, but you can always "ReThink Your Drink" and be soda free.
Did you know that a typical 20-ounce bottle of soda has the equivalent of 22 sugar packets! You wouldn’t eat 22 packets of sugar, so why drink them?
We at Alameda County Public Health Department encourage you to rethink your drink and enjoy the last few weeks of a Soda Free Summer.

It’s easy; just choose water!
Not a fan of plain tap water? Not a problem. Go ahead and tantalize your taste buds with all the flavor and none of the sugar by using fruit or herbs! Here are some simple recipes that our Nutrition Services program shared with over 300 tasters at the East Bay Regional Parks’ Healthy People Healthy Parks Festival. Enjoy! And make sure to “like” us on facebook and follow us on twitter to stay up to date on the campaign and for chances to win soda free prizes every Friday all summer long.
