In celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday, the Dublin Historical Society has launched a project to collect memories of life in Dublin, California back in the day during the Bicentennial in 1976. We invite the public to share their photos, news clippings, letters, journal entries, maps, or other objects - from Dublin, 1976 - that can be digitized for our online storytelling exhibit and archives. 
This effort aims to explore not only how Dublin, California residents celebrated America’s 200th birthday, but also how they lived in 1976. Through your own photographs and souvenirs, we’ll get a perspective of Dublin’s social, cultural, military, and business history - what it meant to be a Dubliner fifty years ago. 
This event kicks off the Dublin Historical Society’s new digital archiving project using new software that will allow current and future generations to come to view our collection. You will receive a digital copy of your contribution(s) to this archive.
Please visit us on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, in the Dublin Library’s Community Room
from 10am to 2pm to help us create this online archive, a legacy for generations to come.

We’re looking for individuals in Fremont, CA to participate in an exciting, interactive in-person experience!
If you enjoy trying new things, experimenting with your look, or testing out innovative concepts - this is for you. No prior experience is required. A friendly moderator will guide you through the entire session, making it easy and comfortable from start to finish.
<h2>Project Details</h2>
<ul><li>Location: Fremont, CA&nbsp;</li><li>Time Commitment: 1 Hour</li><li>Payout: $75 USD (paid upon successful completion of your session)</li></ul>
During your session, you’ll participate in a guided application and recording experience designed to capture natural variations in appearance and movement across different conditions.
All materials and accessories will be provided onsite, and you’ll have the option to opt in to the activities you feel comfortable completing.
Sessions will take place in both indoor and outdoor settings to capture a range of real-world environments.
<h2>Tester Requirements</h2>
<ul><li>Must be at least 18 years old</li><li>Must be able to participate onsite in Fremont, CA</li><li>Must be comfortable applying products or cosmetic enhancements to the face/eye region</li><li>Must be able to speak, read, and understand English proficiently</li><li>If you wear prescription glasses or contacts, you must provide prescription details in advance</li><li>Must present a valid, government-issued photo ID (Temp IDs, photocopies, or screenshots are not accepted.) Due to state privacy laws, we cannot accept IDs issued from TX or IL.</li></ul>
