Officer Andrew Camilleri couldn't be there for the start of his kids' Little League, but Chipper and other officers were.

BAY AREA — Four months after California Highway Patrol Officer Andrew Camilleri was struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver on I-880 in Hayward on Christmas Eve, the shock and sadness over his death have worn off, and Bay Area residents have moved on with their busy lives.

But one group has not moved on - members of the CHP who vowed to step up to help Camilleri's widow and children.

Last Saturday, they attended the Little League Opening Ceremony in Tracy with Andrew's widow Roxy, daughter Elizabeth, and sons Andrew Jr. "A.J.," and Ryder.

The posting ended, "No family deserves to lose a loved one due to DUI, please drive responsibly."
