Community Forum On New Haven School Superintendent Search

UNION CITY, CA — You'll have the opportunity to speak your mind about the next New Haven Unified School District Superintendent. A public forum will be held this Thursday, March 7, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the District Office, located at 34200 Alvarado-Niles Road

Current Superintendent Dr. Arlando Smith has announced his intent to retire at the end of this school year. The Board has already begun its search for his replacement using the services of McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C., an executive search firm.

Part of the search process is meeting with various stakeholders throughout the community for their input.

A community meeting with a Spanish language translator was held Monday evening.
