CrossFit Challenge Planned At Union City Earth Day

UNION CITY, CA — This year’s Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 21, will offer a professionally-timed 5K run for adults and children.

CrossFit One World is joining the event adding an exciting new element to the program. CrossFit will lead two twenty-five minute fitness programs – one for adults and one for youth.

Crossfit incorporates elements of Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics and track and field training techniques into workouts.

We’ll have science-focused activities, as well.

This is a family event promoting fitness, good health, and great community spirit.

The 5K run starts at Cesar Chavez Middle School and runs along the Alameda Creek Trail. There will be vendor and community booths, music, and fun. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Watch for more details! Registration is available here.
