UNION CITY, CA — Emergency repair work by Union Pacific Railroad has been postponed, according to City of Union City Police. That means Decoto Road will not be closed next week, as planned.
The work will be rescheduled, but an exact date has not been announced. It will likely take place in early to mid-December, The City will receive 10 days notice to get everyone prepared.
The work was postponed because the railroad does not have the materials on hand to complete the job.
