Dumbarton Bridge Reopened After Truck Fire on Wednesday
No one was injured during the incident.
All lanes of state Highway 84 on the Dumbarton Bridge were reopened Wednesday afternoon following a fire in a truck loaded with batteries near the toll plaza, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Firefighters responded to the scene just after 4 p.m. on July 16, and a Hazmat crew was later called in because the truck was carrying a large number of batteries, according to the CHP. There were no reports of injuries.
