Earth Can Live Longer.

If we ever want to keep our Earth healthy and make it last longer. We need to lower our CO2 usage.

Dear World,

Concentration of carbon dioxide in our Earth’s atmosphere has accelerated at a high rate year after year. The rate of increase this year is more than double than in the 1960s. This means that, other gases such as water vapor will decrease as CO2 increases. Thus, causing more evaporation and/or precipitation depending on the region.

This brings me to the ALS Bucket challenge that was a worldwide trend on Instagram, Facebook, and several other social media sites. Although this brought huge international awareness for the ALS illness, another situation arose during the hype of the challenge. The drought. Although people resolved the issue by saving water, they also need to be aware that human activity has been a major factor to the drought.

Therefore, in order to stop carbon dioxide emissions into our Earth’s atmosphere, we need to be careful and watch over our human activities because like it or not, us humans are damaging our global’s health everyday. We can walk, bike, carpool, bart, etc. to ensure less gas usages. So far if the world that we live in, continues to be CO2 dependent our PPM per year will continue to increase. Meaning that the world will live a little bit shorter every year.

Sincerely,
