Energy Workshop to Conserve Energy and Cut Utility bills

Energy efficiency workshop is being held to inform homeowners on how they can conserve energy and cut back on their utilities this summer.

The City of Fremont and Energy Upgrade California Home Upgrade have launched the Fremont Energy Challenge, a city-wide initiative encouraging residents to monitor and evaluate energy usage while giving back to the local community. Residents can learn more about the Fremont Energy Challenge at the Fremont Home Energy Workshop on Tuesday, July 29, 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at the Dale Hardware store, 3700 Thornton Ave., Fremont.

The free workshop will feature giveaways of energy efficiency products and homeowners can bring their PG&E bill to sign up for the Home Energy Analyzer on-site. Residents have the chance to help raise $2,000 for Fremont Libraries, receive email coupons and discounts for energy efficient products at Dale Hardware and connect to rebates of up to $4,500 from
Energy Upgrade California Home Upgrade.
