The Bay Area Bossez is an elite AAU nonprofit Boy's and Girl's Basketball Organization based in northern California, serving girls of the Greater East Bay (Union City, Fremont, Hayward, Newark, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Oakland, and Castro Valley). Bay Area Bossez is committed to creating and expanding growth opportunities for male and female student-athletes while striving to create an atmosphere reminiscent of collegiate athletics..
The Bay Area Bossez strives to create an atmosphere reminiscent of collegiate athletics. Practices will be held twice weekly. They will be 2 hours in duration, stressing fundamental team skills, as well as individual skills. Practices will be well organized, intense and highly competitive. Realizing that collegiate coaches need to see a player's individual skills, we will allow our players the freedom to show those skills in a way that is still beneficial to the team. The Bay Area Bossez coaching staff currently consists of four males and two female coaches, but we strive to increase our knowledgeable and highly trained coaching staff throughout the season. We as an organization believe that it is extremely important for our student athletes to interact with current and former female student athletes who have competed and succeeded at a professional and or collegiate level. Various guest coaches will be utilized to enhance the on court lessons. We also will present guest speakers who have made life altering athletic and personal decision. These guest speakers will share their experiences and show how the long-term effects of their decisions altered their athletic and personal lives. Bay Area Bossez plans to offer the boys and girls a safe and encouraging environment. The student athlete's experience with Bay Area Bossez will be more than your average basketball team experience. It will be an unforgettable experience for each of our athletes.
