Volunteers with the AARP Tax-Aide program in cooperation with the IRS assist low and middle income taxpayers free of charge. Special emphasis is given to helping taxpayers age 60+. AARP membership is not a requirement for assistance.

The following information is needed at your appointment: copy of last year’s federal and state tax returns and any tax documents you have received for 2012, such as pension, social security, interest and dividend statements. If you will be filing a joint return with your spouse, it is helpful if both of you attend the appointment.
