The Northern Silicon Valley Partnership will host the third annual Career Strategy Forum on Thursday, June 28. This free event will teach new skills for career development, including how to use online networking to boost your job
search. In addition to different workshops and networking opportunities throughout the morning, additional services will include a free one-on-one resume review with HR professionals, exhibitor booths, and job placement
assistance.
The Northern Silicon Valley Partnership (NSVP) is a collaboration of four cities, Union City, Fremont, Hayward, and Newark, and the Alameda County Workforce Investment Board along with the East Bay Economic Development Alliance in the Northern part of Silicon Valley. These cities and organizations have joined together to
share their resources and highlight the many advantages they offer for businesses to locate in the region. These include attractive lease rates, a highly trained workforce, large and diverse business communities, close
proximity to major freeways, rail, BART, ports, and airports, excellent quality of life, affordable housing, exceptional educational resources, and a broad
range of business friendly services. The NSVP goal is to attract and retain businesses in our communities through joint sponsorship of events and other
business-related programs.
