Master Hot Power Fusion/ Spring Cleanse Class

This class is the second of our Master Class series designed for students who are looking to deepen their yoga practice. Based on the foundational postures and sequencing of a Hot Yoga/ Hot Power Fusion Yoga class, this Master Class will focus beyond the more obvious physical (asana) benefits of yoga. You will have the opportunity to explore your own yoga journey and learn how a faithful yoga practice can positively impact your yoga practice and your life. Learn how to naturally cleanse and detox the body with this ancient wisdom practice.

In this Master Class, we will focus on:

1. Alignment- Poses will be broken down as to alignment and placement of body parts with a short description on how each pose works the muscular and skeletal systems

2. Breath- Emphasis on Pranayama exercises and guided breathing practices 

3. Drishti- How to develop a steady and deep focus

4. Modifications- Variations and modifications of postures will be provided for all physical fitness levels and abilities

5. Depth- learn how to deepen the pose to your own " LEVEL"

We will also include an hour long Spring Cleanse/Detox lecture.

"Things are pretty dirty around here! We live in a dirty environment- from the pesticides in our produce, pollution in the air, and sometimes even the products we put on our bodies. Our bodies need help to get rid of the accumulated toxins that have built up in our cells. So, how do we get them out? Through emphasizing foods and a lifestyle change that energizes our bodies and naturally helps to eliminate the waste trapped in our cells.

Some of the highlights of this talk will include:
- Why should I do a spring cleanse/detox anyway?
-What are the benefits of doing a spring cleanse?
-How long should I do a cleanse?
-What foods can I enjoy on a cleanse?
-What foods should I avoid on a cleanse?


We will also discuss:
-How a cleanse can jumpstart an overall lifestyle change including long-term weight loss and healthier food choices.
-How a cleanse can beautifully complement your yoga practice and facilitate the elimination of toxic cells stuck in the body.

Additionally, we will cover a sample day in the life of a cleanse as well as yummy recipes to support your cleanse so you will have all the tools you need for an amazing experience."
