
The New Haven Boosters Association’s Third Annual “Race to Save Student Activities” will take place on Sunday, May 6, at at Cesar Chavez Middle School.
This event raises funds for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities at all NHUSD schools.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the first race will start at 9 a.m. The “Race” features 5-kilometer and 10-kilometer walk/runs staring from Cesar Chavez Middle School and continuing along the Alameda Creek Trail, as well as age-group races on the school track. Kids races start at 10:30 a.m.

The event has something for everyone – from serious runners to casual walkers and families.
- Competitive runner? Challenge the field of 5K or 10K runners and see how you match up. (Serious runners will be invited to start in the first section of the running group.)
- Casual runner? Come on out! Our 5K and 10K options will be great fun on a popular course!
- Like to get out and walk on the weekend? Join the fun atmosphere and a very nice 5K course.
- Families: We have fun races that are appropriate for whatever age children you have!
