
For those that like to get outdoors – either for a nice Saturday morning walk or competitive Fun Run -- the ‘Race to Save Student Activities’ event is just for you!
- Competitive runner? Challenge the field of 5K or 10K runners and see how you match up. (Serious runners will be invited to start in the first section of the running group.)
- Casual runner? Come on out! Our 5K and 10K options will be great fun on a popular course!
- Like to get out and walk on the weekend? Join the fun atmosphere and a very nice 5K course.
- Families: we have fun races that are appropriate for whatever age children you have! (See below for more details)

The state budget crisis will result in serious budget cuts for New Haven’s co-curricular programs. Participating in our event is an easy way to help the kids of our community and have fun at the same time.
Online registration is available here at Active.com. A race registration fee is added. Registration flyers are also available if you prefer to register by mail (at no additional fee). Please contact Michael Ritchie to request.

Course:
Start at CCMS Middle School and continue onto the Alameda Creek Trail. Again, 5K and 10K options are available.
