Youth Violence Prevention Meeting

Alameda County Chief Probation Officer, David Muhammad will speak before the January 4 meeting of the City's Youth Violence Prevention Advisory Committee.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Kennedy Community Center.

Muhammad has been described as a transformational leader whose progressive track record in changing juvenile probation from a revolving door between the streets and the criminal justice system, to a system that provides effective diversion and support services to break the cycle of violence in urban communities, is well-documented.
