BAY AREA, CA - Did you see the full moon on Sunday? It was gorgeous!

If you're a sky watcher, chances are that you've visited the Chabot Space and Science Center in Oakland. Patch reader Gaganpreet Bains of Union City snapped this beautiful photo of Chabot on June 17.

Chabot describes itself as a multi-purpose destination, "Founded as an observatory in 1883, today Chabot offers visitors the very latest in hands-on, interactive exhibits, displays, and Planetarium shows that explore the mysteries of the universe and of life here on earth.
