Free Catalytic Converter Engraving: Appointments Available

UNION CITY, CA — If you are concerned about becoming a victim of catalytic converter theft, the Union City Police Department and T&L Elite Automotive are offering to etch your vehicle's VIN number into the part for free.

With the VIN, recovered stolen catalytic converters may be returned to owners.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 4. Here's the catch: you need an appointment.
