Fremont Stereo Shop Robbed by Shotgun-Wielding Man, Clerk Beaten
Anyone with information about the robbery has been asked to call Fremont police at (510) 790-6800.

A shotgun-wielding man robbed a Fremont stereo shop and beat a store clerk Sunday evening, according to police. The robbery happened at about 6:45 p.m. Sunday at Stereo Town, located at 4050 Alder Ave. The suspect threatened the store clerk with a shotgun and then stole money from a safe.
After taking the money, he beat the store clerk in the torso, police said. The robbery suspect was described as a man standing 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black mask and black track pants, police said.
