Gang Awareness In Union City
How can you spot gang members in your neighborhood? How do you keep your own kids out of gangs? Union City presentation coming up.
UNION CITY, CA — Gangs are a serious problem in Union City, and parents who are aware and involved are the best defense against kids becoming involved in them.
To help parents and community members address the problem, the Union City Family Center, Union City Police Department, and the City of Union City Youth & Family Services has invited the entire community to a presentation focused on recognizing gang involvement in youth and prevention strategies.

The presentation will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 24, in room B3 at the Union City Family Center, 725 Whipple Road in Union City. Police Lt. Steve Mendez, and David Sarinana of UCYFS will be the presenters.
