FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE.  Union City Lions and the New Haven Schools Foundation Partner up to Host the Third Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday,  June 4, 2016.

No matter how you slice it, the third annual golf tournament hosted by the Lions Club of Union City and the New Haven Schools Foundation will be helping a number of great causes.  Proceeds from the event will benefit education, youth activities, and local community service projects.

The day on the course at SKYWEST Golf Course, 1401 Golf Course Rd. Hayward, CA  94541 begins with a 3-hole putting contest @ 7:00 am, followed by a round of golf on one of the East Bay's most popular course, then Immediately afterwards the awards luncheon, raffle and auction and more.

Fun and games will be the order of the day with on course refreshments, contests on the course including a Hole-in-One extravaganza.  All par three holes will offer a prize for anyone whose ball drops in the cup in one stroke, but the first golfer making this shot on the featured hole will win $10,000, or a Hawaii Golf Excursion.  The package includes Air Travel, Stay at the Ritz Carlton & Play 2 rounds each at Kapalua & Ka'anapali.

The cost for the 18 hole tournament is $125 per golfer, which includes golf, cart, tee prizes and the tournament luncheon.  For non- golfers you can join the fun afterwards at the awards luncheon for only $25. Tournament Awards, Raffle prizes and Auction will take place during the Tournament Luncheon.

Foursomes are encourage, but partial teams and solo players are welcome to register and be teamed up with others.
