House Fire Put Out in Union City

A second alarm was called, but later canceled.

UNION CITY, CA — Firefighters have knocked down a house fire in Union City this afternoon, fire officials said.

The Alameda County Fire Department reported the fire shortly after 2:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of Palmdale Street.

Firefighters quickly called for a two-alarm response but later canceled the additional resources. The fire was knocked down by about 3 p.m., according to the fire department.
