Kaiser Permanente Medical Assistant Arrested For Alleged Sexual Assault
Union City Police made the arrest Friday

UNION CITY, CA - Union City Police arrested a Kaiser Permanente medical assistant for alleged sexual assault Friday morning. The arrest stemmed from an alleged incident that happened in January.
On Jan. 25, a female patient went to the Kaiser Medical Office in Union City for an appointment. According to a written statement from police, "During her visit, she claimed she was sexually assaulted by a medical assistant. The victim notified the Union City Police Department of the incident and provided credible information."
After police wrapped up their investigation, the case was reviewed by a Judge, which resulted in a $250,000.00 warrant for the suspect’s arrest.

Neither the suspect nor the victim were identified by police.
UCPD praised Kaiser for its handling of the alleged incident, saying "Kaiser Permanente officials were extremely cooperative during the investigation."
