Kids Bring BB Gun, Knife to Elementary School: Police

UNION CITY, CA — Two children were arrested last week after allegedly bringing weapons to an elementary school in Union City and threatening other students, according to police.

An officer was dispatched to Guy Jr. Emanuele Elementary School around 9:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18.

A report of two children in possession of a BB gun and a knife was corroborated by multiple students who said they'd been threatened with the weapons.

Both children were arrested. One was taken to juvenile hall and the other was released to a parent, police said. Their identities were not disclosed.
