Congratulations to the Logan Girls Wrestling Team for taking third as a team at the Napa Valley Girls Classic, considered to be the most competitive Girls Tournament in the State. With over 500 girls wrestling and out of Logan’s team of 8, six received medal awards: Nguyet Tran, 1st place; Lena Sam, 3rd place; An Vo, 4th place; Emily Sandoval, 4th place; Isabella Bamba, 5th place; Julie Tran, 7th place.
According to Coach Robert Flores, “It’s great to see all of the girls hard work paying off. We still have some work to do, to be exactly where we need to be, but I’m proud of their success thus far. The end of the season is right around the corner, we just have to try to improve every time we step on the mat.”
