'Logan High Street Eats' Food Truck Line-Up: May 15

Find out which 10 tasty trucks will be serving up eats at James Logan High tonight.

 returns today to the parking lot with 10 trucks to serve up tasty treats.

Hosted by the Food Truck Mafia, the event is a fundraiser for the New Haven Teachers Association and runs from 4:30 to 9 p.m.

The Food Truck Mafia also hosts  at Union Landing.

Pizza Pimps

Pizza Pimps specializes in delicious cheesy pies from pizza slices decked in Polynesian sauces topped with Canadian bacon, macadamia nuts and shredded coconut to pizzas like "PIMP A RONI" that are topped with double pepperoni, cheese, garlic, basil, feta cheese and more. Truckin Sweet

This gourmet ice cream and dessert truck serves up homemade, all-natural, "sinfully sweet concoctions." Try their Voodoo Crunch (Oreo cookies with malt balls and espresso chips) or the Top Secret, which is, well, top secret. Grillaz Gone Wild

Want some warm bread full of delicious meats and cheese? Enter Grillaz. New this year, this Fremont-based food truck specializes in hoagies and gourmet sandwiches, including Philly cheesesteaks. Follow them on Twitter at @grillazgonewild.

That’s Sweet! Dessert Truck

Cupcakes — yummy, specialty cupcakes — are the stars of this gourmet truck. Flavors range from Salted Caramel to Red Velvet. They also bake up whoopie pies. Follow them on Twitter at @ThatsSweetTruck.

Twister Truck

A "Mexican grill with a twist," this truck serves up some of your favorite Mexican dishes in traditional styles or in tortilla "cones." The WOW Truck

The WOW Silog Truck specializes in silogs, a traditional Filipino breakfast served with garlic rice and fried egg. Their menu includes sweet sausage (longanisa), BBQ Chicken, cured pork (tocino), Spam, corned beef and more. Follow themon Twitter at @TheWOWTruck.

MoGoBBQ

One of the first food trucks to visit Union City, MoGo BBQ is a local favorite. The truck specializes in Korean BBQ served in burritos, tacos, sliders, quesadillas and bacon-wrapped hot dogs with kimchi. Follow them on Twitter at @mogobbq.

BBQKalbi

A Union City Eats regular, BBQ Kalbi features a Korean fusion menu that ranges from Kalbi (beef) to Spicy Pollo (chicken) burritos to Kimchi quesadillas. Their unagi (eel) burritos have been a hit at the Union City events. Follow them on Twitter at @BBQKALBI.

O mi Ninja

The O mi Ninja food truck serves up Vietnamese fare, but in a refreshingly unique style. Many customers rave about their tasty selections, and also appreciate the healthy fare they serve up, which is rare in a food truck. Popular dishes include the steak banh mi, buon with lemongrass chicken, thit nuong (bbq pork), traditional Vietnamese sandwiches and more. Don't forget the Ninja sauce!

3-3-3 Truck

New to the street eats scene, 3-3-3 brings together Indian, Korean and Mexican food in a one-stop shop. Served in either tacos or burritos, customers can choose from three items from each culture: carne asada, chipotle chicken or chile verde for Mexican; short rib, spicy bbq chick or mushroom tofu for Korean; and lamb curry, chicken tikka and paneer tikka for Indian.
