Logan Student Recognized For Tech Achievement
The recognition is from the National Center for Women & Information Technology.

UNION CITY, CA — Logan High School student Riya Arora has received an Honorable Mention in the 2018 NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing. NCWIT stands for National Center for Women & Information Technology.
She's one of nearly 400 high school girls from all 50 States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and U.S. overseas military bases recognized.
Participants demonstrated their interest and achievements in computing, proven leadership ability, academic performance, and plans for post‑secondary education.

In all, 41 winners and 350 honorable mentions were selected from more than 3,600 entrants.
