Man Shot Dead In Union City Sunday Night

The victim was hit by a hail of bullets as he sat in the driver's seat of a car.

UNION CITY, CA — Police are seeking witnesses to a shooting that claimed the life of a man in Union City Sunday night.

The shooting was reported in the 33800 block of 7th Street around 8:30 p.m. Officers found the victim seated in the driver's seat of a vehicle parked on 7th Street. He had been shot several times.

Alameda County Fire Personnel pronounced him dead. His name has not been released.
