Man on Street Robbed of Necklace, Cash
The victim said a man approached him from behind and hit him with a bar or stick.

Police in Union City are investigating a Saturday strong-armed robbery. The victim told police he was in the area of Fellow Street and Regents Boulevard around 7:45 p.m. when a man approached him from behind and hit him with a bar or stick.
The suspect stole the victim’s necklace, watch and cash and fled the area on foot. The victim described the suspect as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 180 to 190 pounds. The suspect was wearing a blue sweater or jacket and a black beanie cap.
