NAMIWalk San Francisco Bay Area 2014 -- It's Fun! It's Free! It Helps!

Join 3,000 people of all ages from nine Bay Area counties for the 10th Annual 5K NAMIWalk San Francisco Bay.  Funds raised directly benefit the free mental health programs and services of nine National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) affiliates in Alameda County, Alameda County South,
Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and Solano counties who come together to create this annual FUNdraiser.  Funds raised from sponsors and donors help keep NAMI mental health programs and support groups in your community free.

  • Date: Saturday, May 31, 2014
  • Location:
    Lindley Meadow, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco (30th Ave and John F Kennedy Drive)
  • Distance: 5K (or
    2K shorter route)
  • Time: Check-in 8:30am, Opening Ceremony: 10:30 am, Walk Start: 11:00 am
  • Post-Walk to 2 pm:  live music, info booths, and food for purchase (Picnic lunches and dogs on leashes are okay.)
  • Registration is FREE to NAMIWalkers (thanks to generous sponsor
    donations).  Walkers are encouraged to raise donations.  Everyone raising $100 or more gets a free event T-Shirt.
  • Children under 18 are welcome with adult
    guardians.
