Dear NHUSD Community,

Over the weekend we learned that allegations of sexual assault involving district students have been circulating in social media circles. The New Haven Unified School District takes all allegations of sexual assault very seriously and investigates them thoroughly. In all cases, we involve the Union City Police Department.

The allegations that have come to our attention via social media will be thoroughly investigated in coordination with the UCPD. In most cases, the outcomes of these types of investigations cannot be shared publicly. We are committed to investigating these allegations to the fullest extent possible.
