Police Display Arsenal Seized In Union City
The rifles and handguns have been seized this year.

UNION CITY, CA — Local police departments frequently announce that they seize a gun or two during an arrest. How does that add up? The Union City Police Department just gave a stark display of the impact of repeated gun seizures.
So far this year, UCPD has taken 82 handguns and rifles off the streets. About half of them are displayed in photos released by the department on Thursday.
"Most of these firearms were taken as part of a criminal investigation and showcase the hard work being done to make our community safer," the department said when releasing the photos.
