Police Identify Man Shot To Death In Union City Wednesday Night
The victim was a 38-year-old Union City resident, police said.
UNION CITY, CA — Union City police have identified a person who died following a shooting in the city late Wednesday night.
The victim was Michael McNack, a 38-year-old resident of Union City, police said Friday.
Officers responded around 10:30 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 33500 block of Seventh Street and found McNack with life-threatening injuries, police said. He was taken to a hospital but died there.

Police are considering the case a murder but have not released any information about a possible suspect. The department said in a press release Friday that the shooting "is believed to be an isolated incident and there does not appear to be an on-going threat to the community."
